Happy Easter to everyone! I wanted to do something special this year and I decided on doing a a cool design for the Easter eggs. This DIY may come a little bit later than needed, due to the fact that everyone has already made their Easter eggs. However, you can keep this idea in mind for the next year. Preparation What you will need: boiled eggs // 2-3 bowls with water // nail polishes // paper // acetone // glitter (optional) Make sure you also have a pair of gloves and also, don't forget to cover the furniture. The process This is pretty self explanatory. Pour the nail polish in the bowl of water. Make a combination of colors that you enjoy. Make sure you have your gloves on. Then, take your first egg and dip it in the colored water. Don't worry about damaged edges, you can fix that later. Make sure you have some sort of paper at hand to place the eggs. As you may or may not know, Christmas, and winter holidays in general are my favorite and this is my first year when I actually get to decorate my own and personal room. A post on that is doomed to arrive later this month. For now let's settle with this Christmas garland I made for my nest. It did not turned out as neat as I would've liked but I really enjoy having it on my wall. So here is what I did. //Preparation// Firstly, make sure you have everything you need. I also used a ruler and some tape, which are not shown in the picture above. Then, choose your message and make sure you have enough paper. I went for "MERRY CHRISTMAS" but you can do whatever you prefer. As stated in the title this blog is not solely focused on fashion related posts. These days, I had my first attempt at a furniture diy. It was exciting at first and rewarding when finished. Although the product obtained is not one hundred percent perfect, as I would like it to be ( because I'm a perfectionist ), I am pretty pleased with how it turned out. Here are the steps that I followed to revamp an old bedside table. //Preparation// Firstly I bought everything that I needed for the diy. I choose white paint because it matches my room's color scheme and also looks very neat. The bed stand was originally varnished and I needed to get rid of that so that the paint could stick to the wood. I used the paint thinner and also a piece of sand paper. //Painting// I layed everything down on my back yard, grabbed a pair of gloves and an apron and began to paint.
