favorite sweaters

I will skip the part where I say sorry for not posting for a long time. Life at university is busy, I also try to maintain a social life, so I hardly find time to take pictures. As I am currently in my winter holiday, I have decided to show my favorite sweaters that I will be wearing for the last two months of winter, and who knows, maybe March as well. In my opinion a sweater is must when your main goals are comfort and warmth, but it can also be very chic. In terms of color, I have a few neutrals but today I chose to show you some colorful options. Bellow I also added some of my usual outfit pairings. #1 - you can never go wrong with a pair of boyfriend/ripped jeans and a sweater  - #2 - I had to include a full black outfit, because that is what I have been wearing lately - #3 - people always ask me where I got that skirt, but I am usually pairing my tops and sweaters over dresses; it works amazingly - There will be an actual outfit post later this ...

top H&M // skirt Stradivarius // boots H&M // leather jacket ZARA Boys  I think we probably already now that marsala is the color of the year. I may be a little late to the party myself, but 2015 is not over yet, so that is my excuse. My days are getting busier, university is occupying most of my time, and I hardly find some moments to take care of my dear blog. However, this week I got the opportunity to enjoy e cup of tea with one of my dearest friends, and also take a few shots of one my recent purchases. Yes, you guessed it, I am talking about the gorgeous skirt. From now on, I think I will let the pictures do the talking for me. See you next post!

exploring Bucharest: Xenofon Street

Image
I have moved to Bucharest.  Here I am, begining a new chapter in my life. Not long ago, I have started my university student life. I am currently getting used with everything, the new city, meeting new people, organizing my time, my expenses and at the same time making sure I still do things that appeal to my heart such as finding and visiting new and exciting places. Well, last week I got the idea to do something like mini series on my blog of places I visit in Bucharest, the capital of my dear country Romania. This time the spotlight falls on Xenofon Street . The Xenofon street, as it is named, is often referenced as the city’s only stairways street. It is 220 years old, narrow, and less than 100 meter long. It however has over 100 steps. The hard part, was getting there, as it is quite hidden from the human eye.  Of course, I had to take some pictures to show the amazing place and also my outfit of the day.  hat H&M // top ZARA // pants...

follow me into the light

Guess who is back? After such a long time, I finally got out of my cave. These past two months have been the most stressful and, at the same time, the most amazing that I have had in a long time. I hope you will be pleased to know that I got into the university that I wanted. I am so proud of myself and of how I have grown both intellectually and spiritually.  I came back to what I like doing best, photo-shoots! You must thank my dear friend Diana for the photos your are going to see below, as she was my accomplice. So, make sure you take a look at her blog and I promise you will be pleasantly surprised. The outfit pictured in this post came as response to the scandalously hot weather. I wanted it to be classy, flowy and, at the same time, really comfortable. I have recently bought this black jumpsuit especially for summertime. What I love most about it is the not so usual wide leg lower part. However, despite its slightly unusual cut, it is very versatile and c...

blazer Zara // top Stradivarius // skirt Zara // boots H&M This week has been very productive when it comes to posting my ootds. However, I am not so proud of making black color of the week. I tried to compensate with this neon green door. There is not so much to say. I went out, took some photos and now I am sharing them with you. Enjoy! Thank you for reading!

comfy denim

denim jacket Levi's // tshirt Zara // maxi skirt Zara // hat H&M // shoes Converse For some of us, Monday mornings may not be so comfortable. Add school to the equation and you get a not so pleasant day. As a result to that, I choose something easy to wear for the first day of the week. I love this skirt for the simple fact that it literally feels like a blanket. I also took out my denim jacket for some fresh air. Didn't forget the hat I am absolutely obsessed with. So, this is my outfit of the day. Thank you for reading!

black & brown

dress Stradivarius // belt Orsay // boots Stardivarius // lipstick Rimmel London  Who said anything about wearing color during springtime? And who said anything about not wearing brown and black at the same time? Rules were made to be broken in some cases. It was one of those almost sunny days, perfect for taking some pictures. I teamed up with one of my best friends, Raluca, and the pictures had been taken care of. I must say that I feel so lucky having so many supportive friends when it comes to my blog. I am amused at how I tend to grab the parapet or put my hands in my pockets in every pose. No shame! Those being said let's talk about the outfit. I went for the classic little black dress. Lately, I've been into black a lot, and you can clearly see that if you check my Instagram account. I got the belt from my mom as a spring gift, I suppose, and I immediately thought of pairing it with my LBD. I went for little to no accessories and for my beloved boots. A nice...
